Narcare Puget Sound Updates
The Narcare Puget Sound Chapter introduced a new leadership team in May, and they have had a busy few months since then. On May 15, they organized a pop-up Overdose recognition and prevention training at the University of Washington. On May 18, they organized a walk-around at the U-District Street Fair to distribute Narcan to community members and spread awareness about opioid overdose prevention. On May 23, they organized a fundraiser to support their work. On May 31, they tabled at the U-District Farmers Market to distribute Narcan and give people a space to share their experiences with the opioid crisis.
Spring Quarter Social
On June 2, Narcare UW organized its Spring Quarter Social. Their members made stress balls and were provided with basic crochet lessons.
