Opioid Overdose Care Pathway Event
On April 7, 2025, we were joined by Dr. Callan Fockele, Senior Medical Lead at DESC’s ORCA Center and UW professor, to learn about interventions that are turning overdose response into long-term recovery. Dr. Fockele discussed her work building care pathways that go beyond just reversal.
Admitted Students Day
On April 19, 2025, we tabled at the UW Admitted Students Day. We shared our work and on-campus impact with prospective students.
MAPS Pre-Health Conference
On April 26, 2025, we participated in the Pre-Health Conference organized by the Minority Association of Pre-Med Students. We distributed free Narcan and discussed the advocacy work we are engaged in.
Movie Night & Harm Reduction Kit Assembly
On April 28, 2025, we organized a movie night for our members. We watched Zootopia! We also assembled harm reduction kits for The People’s Harm Reduction Alliance.
